LINN COUNTY, OR – The Linn County Sheriff’s Office is continuing search operations for 18-year-old Karandeep Singh, who was last seen entering the Santiam River near Mill City on October 8, 2025. Efforts have included aerial drone searches and ongoing boat operations. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and Oregon State Marine Board are assisting with the search. Search operations will continue in the coming days and weeks as conditions permit. The public is urged to remain vigilant and report any sightings or suspicious items near the river to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office at 541-967-3950.

LEBANON, OR – A student was taken into custody Monday afternoon following the discovery of a threatening message at Lebanon High School, according to the Lebanon Police Department. On October 13, 2025, at approximately 2:38 p.m., police were notified of a handwritten threat found inside a bathroom at the school, located at 1700 South Fifth Street. The School Resource Officer and staff immediately launched an investigation and identified a Lebanon High School student as the suspect. The juvenile was taken into custody at 5:33 p.m. and lodged at the Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center.
