Student taken into custody after threat found at Lebanon High School
LEBANON, OR – A student was taken into custody Monday afternoon following the discovery of a threatening message at Lebanon High School, according to the Lebanon Police Department.
On October 13, 2025, at approximately 2:38 p.m., police were notified of a handwritten threat found inside a bathroom at the school, located at 1700 South Fifth Street. The School Resource Officer and staff immediately launched an investigation and identified a Lebanon High School student as the suspect.
The juvenile was taken into custody at 5:33 p.m. and lodged at the Linn-Benton Juvenile Detention Center. The student is facing charges of Disorderly Conduct in the First Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree. Authorities believe the student acted alone.
