Two killed in head-on collision on Kings Highway in Saugerties

ULSTER COUNTY, NY – Two people were killed in a head-on crash early in the morning on Kings Highway near Sinsapaugh Lane, according to the Saugerties Police Department. At approximately 5:27 a.m., officers responded to the scene and located two heavily damaged vehicles in the northbound lane. A 2023 Toyota Corolla, driven by a 65-year-old man from Waterbury, Connecticut, was traveling southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 2022 Ford F-150 operated by a 19-year-old male from Lake Katrine. The 65-year-old driver and his 61-year-old passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene. The 19-year-old was transported to Health Alliance Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. LEBANON COUNTY, PA – A Lebanon City woman has been charged with Criminal Homicide in connection with the stabbing death of Dontay Maurice Hunter, according to the Lebanon County District Attorney’s Office. Katelynn Kearney, 32, was arrested after police determined she fatally stabbed Hunter inside his apartment at 833 Chestnut Street in the late evening hours of October 4. Kearney was previously charged on October 6 with Tampering with Physical Evidence after attempting to dispose of her clothing and the murder weapon. INGHAM COUNTY, MI - A 48-year-old Owosso man was killed in a two-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Leroy Township, according to the Ingham County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded around 6 a.m. to the crash on Grand River Avenue between Gramer Road and Wallace Road. Preliminary investigation indicates that the man's eastbound SUV crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound semi-truck driven by a 66-year-old Fowlerville man. CHAMBERSBURG, PA – A driver has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run that killed a pedestrian at the intersection of West Washington Street and Water Street on October 7, 2025. BAY COUNTY, FL – Sheriff Tommy Ford announced the arrest of a 14-year-old boy at Arnold High School on Thursday. He was charged with two third-degree felonies. According to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office, the victim reported that the 14-year-old began grabbing her during class. Despite attempts to get away, the victim said she was forced into a supply closet, where the 14-year-old shut the door and refused to let her out.
