According to police, the 17 year old who was living with his 21 year old girlfriend was at home when two other men in their 20's showed up to do a drug transaction. The girlfriend and the victim were in the bathroom trying to get some money together and when they exited police say the suspects made it clear that they did not want the teen there and one of the suspects shot him in the arm. HOUSTON (June 7, 2024) - At approximately 10:40 p.m., a 16-year-old female pedestrian was struck by an oncoming vehicle in the 8400 block of Bellaire Boulevard. https://youtu.be/wDZv3CK4mC8 The victim was walking southbound across Bellaire Boulevard when she was hit after crossing the center median. Police say she did not use a crosswalk and the driver remained on scene.

HOUSTON, TX (June 6, 2024) - A 5-year-old girl died after drowning at an apartment complex in southwest Houston Saturday evening. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the drowning call at the Walden of Westchase Apartments and found her unresponsive in the pool. This happened around 8:10 p.m. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department then transported her to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Her identity has not been released. The arrest stems from an incident on May 3, 2024, where Flowers is accused of intentionally causing the death of Megan Rouse by shooting her with a firearm. Flowers was apprehended on May 31, 2024. According to court documents, on May 3, 2024, at approximately 10:49 PM, HPD officers responded to a shooting in the 13700 block of Anagnost Road. The victim, later identified as Megan Rouse, was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds and severe blunt force trauma. HOUSTON, TX (June 1, 2024) - A five-year-old girl who was taken to a local hospital after drowning has died. HPD Units responded to the Walden of Westchase Apartment Complex located at 2828 Rogerdale Road early Saturday night after the family reportedly lost track of the five-year-old and found her in a pool and pulled her out. Update: This story has been updated after it was learned that the 5-year-old girl was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 1, 2024) - A woman is in custody after she pointed a handgun at Deputies in northwest Harris County. The deputies were originally called out to the 27700 block of Dana Lane around 8:30 p.m. after she was the woman was reportedly brandishing her weapon at her mother and stepfather. When deputies arrived, they tried to de-escalate the situation but the pointed the weapon at one of the deputies who then discharged their weapon several times. The woman was not injured in the shooting and a Harris County S.W.A.T. team was called out after she barricaded herself. She ended up surrendering after negotiations with S.W.A.T

HOUSTON, TX (June 2, 2024) - Just before 10 p.m. last night, Houston Firefighters responded to an 18-wheeler on fire after a crash with another vehicle in the southbound lanes of the North Freeway near Tidwell. https://youtu.be/70R86ATUj8Y According to Deputy Chief Harrison of the Houston Fire Department, two civilians were injured and transported to a local hospital. One of them has non life threatening injuries, and the other civilian's condition is unknown at this time. A foam blanket was put on the fire by Hazmat crews to extinguish it. The truck was carrying about 8,800 gallons of unleaded fuel. No firefighters were injured.

HOUSTON, TX (June 2, 2024) - A man was shot while pizza in the parking lot of the Northland Woods apartment complex in north Houston. https://youtu.be/-7jkCcXZjQo The shooting occurred at about 1:30 a.m. According to police, the victim was standing in the parking lot when a white sedan started to drive by him slowly and started shooting at him for apparently no reason.
