According to HPD, officers responded to the scene and found a male victim, believed to be in his late 30s to early 40s, suffering from gunshot wounds. Man killed after vehicle crashes into bayou near South MacGregor and Cullen

According to HPD, the vehicle struck a barrier fence and a tree before entering the water. The male occupant was found inside the submerged vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. According to the Houston Fire Department Arson Bureau, Dumser was seen on surveillance video visiting the building the night of the fire and discarding a lit cigarette into nearby bushes.
