September 10, 2022 - A man was fatally shot in front of the Liberty Food Market located in the 3800 block of Liberty Rd, in northeast Houston. Bloody Saturday: Overnight shootings in Houston leave at least 4 people dead and 4 others injured

At least three people are dead, and four others are injured in shootings that occurred in the Houston area overnight. Most of these shootings occurred in northeast Houston. The first of which was a woman who was shot in the 3500 block of Liberty Rd @ Staples St. just after 8 p.m. She was taken to the hospital via ambulance where she was later pronounced deceased. Three blocks away, a man was fatally shot in front of the Liberty Food Market in the 3800 block of Liberty Rd. He was pronounced deceased at the scene and covered with a white sheet as investigators worked to determine what happened. September 10, 2022 - Bullet holes can be seen on a Chevrolet Impala after a woman was reportedly shot and taken to the hospital in the 3500 block of Liberty road near Staples street in north Houston around 8 p.m. https://www.youtube.com/embed/yh1JQFmyhEI A woman holding a toddler was observed at the scene. Suspect shot by Houston Police Officer after a vehicle pursuit in north Houston

Three suspects were arrested after a short vehicle pursuit in Houston that started around midnight. September 9, 2022 - A man was stabbed at least twice outside of the Courtyard by Marriott near Bush Airport in Houston. According to investigators, witnesses heard a commotion and found the man on the ground around 1 a.m. The man was stabbed once in his groin and once in the chest. The actual stabbing took place in the back of the parking lot but the man was able to find his way to the front of the hotel. This is when witnesses found him and started to help him. The man was rushed to the hospital where he later died. This is a developing story and we will update you as soon as we learn more.

88-year-old man identified as victim in a fatal car crash on Houston freeway

September 4, 2022 - An 88-year-old man was identified as the sole victim of a fatal car crash in the 15300 Block of the Eastex Freeway. According to investigators with the Houston Police Department, the man "was driving a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck southbound on the freeway at the above address when the vehicle crossed several lanes, left the roadway and struck a concrete barrier.  Paramedics transported the driver to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased." August 23, 2022 - A suspect was fatally shot by Houston Police after taking a supervisor hostage and forcing her to drive down the Eastex freeway. Police caught up to the kidnapping victim and the suspect at a Shell gas station in Splendora, TX, just north of Houston. Police chase ends with crash and car fire in north Houston

A high-speed police chase quickly came to an end when the suspect's vehicle crashed on Little York near 59, the Eastex Freeway in north Houston. It is unclear how many suspects were in the vehicle, but officers with the Harris County Sheriff's Office were able to detain all of the suspects before they fled the scene. The crash occurred at about 11:20 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in the 10700 block of the Eastex Freeway. Several vehicles were involved, including the suspect's vehicle. One of these vehicles caught on fire. It is unclear at this time what led up to the chase, but we will update you as soon as we have more information.
