Four people, between the ages of 16 and 25 are dead after an argument broke out in the courtyard of an apartment complex in Harris County, TX according to a tweet sent out by Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. "Last night, around 11:20 pm, @HCSOTexas units responded to an apt complex located at 2331 Bammelwood. Units found four persons with gunshot wounds; three were confirmed deceased on the scene and a fourth was transported to a hospital in critical condition. It appears an argument between two parties led to the shooting. Follow-up investigation is underway by Homicide and CSI.". This happened at the intersection of Lockwood and Laura Koppe Rd. She was 23 years old at the time. The children and their mother were taken to a local hospital, but the mother did not make it. The deputy was pursuing a suspect, Davonte Williams, who was out on bail at the time and had just robbed a CVS Pharmacy in north Houston. New York City resident, Alex Taveras applied for a gun license and was denied because of a domestic abuse case in 2011. He was asking specifically for a rifle or shotgun license in order to protect himself at his residence in the Bronx in 2018. The officers who were in charge of reviewing his application found the domestic abuse case on his record from 2011 and subsequently denied him a license, citing the domestic abuse case and arrest from seven years prior. The problem though was that the alleged victim of the 2011 domestic abuse case and arrest ultimately dropped the protective order issued against Alex Taveras and the charges were eventually dismissed. A driver in NW Houston caused a major fire at a commercial roofing supply and distribution company after she was speeding down Mitchelldale St, just off of Antonie and US 290, and flipped her vehicle, causing it to catch on fire. The accident occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on July 11, 2022. Within minutes, the fire spread from her vehicle to supplies that were being stored in the parking lot of Commercial Distribution Specialists and staged for deliveries in the morning. The Houston Police Department along with the Houston Fire Department responded to a report of someone firing into the water (Greens Bayou) in the 13100 block of Northborough Dr, and that someone may have been shot around 10 p.m. on July 11, 2022. The shooting occurred in the Greenspoint area of Houston, TX. When the first responders arrived, they found a truck inside Greens Bayou that had been left running. Firefighters along with the Houston Police Department searched inside the vehicle and went up and down the bayou looking for victims. They did not find any. Harris County, TX - A woman was arrested in Harris County after a warrant was issued for her arrest and deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a raid at her office on JFK Boulevard, near Bush Intercontinental Airport for taking part in a scheme to defraud financial institutions of more than $3.3 million dollars. According to the court documents, filed in Harris County District Court, Roekeicha Lashay Brisby of "Rose Credit Repair", would charge customers between $100 and $200 a month to fix their credit.
