Houston Police responded to a report of a shooting outside the Ojos Locos Sports Cantina in East Houston on March 6, 2022 around 2:30 a.m.

According to Sgt. Rose with the Houston Police Department, a single fatal vehicle crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. on March 5, 2022. The crash happened in the 4600 block of Holmes Road when a Mini Cooper exited the freeway at a high rate of speed. As the driver took the curve onto Holmes Rd, the driver lost control, crashed into several trees, flipped over and was partially ejected since they were not wearing their seatbelt. Police believe that if the driver had been wearing their seatbelt, there is a good chance that driver, while injured would still be alive.

Officials with the Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office shut down BayWatchWeekend at Maya Park on March 5, 2022 (2026 Connorvale Rd) after promoters failed to obtain proper permits. More than 3,000 people were in attendance according to HCFMO at the time of shut down. Houston Firefighters responded to a report of a fire on Houston’s Eastside (7100 Block of Sherman in East Houston shortly after midnight on March 5, 2022. The fire was quickly contained, but not before it destroyed the home.

A mattress on the freeway dropped likely dropped by another motorist appeared to be the cause of an accident on the Eastex Freeway @ Little York shortly after 11 p.m. on March 4, 2022.

A home built in 1947 in the “Old Braeswood” in the 2300 block of Gramercy @ Morningside (2345 Gramercy) area of Houston was destroyed after a a fire ripped through the house. The call was dispatched at about 1:45 a.m. on March 4, 2022.

A vehicle was traveling northbound on Main St. and was struck by multiple bullets in the 6600 block of Main @ Southgate at about 3 a.m on March 4, 2022 right outside Texas Childrens Hospital - Pavilion for Women. The driver was checked out by EMS with the Houston Fire Department, for what appeared to be minor injuries. Houston Police are investigating.

At about 9:50 p.m. on March 3, 2022, marked SUV of the Houston Fire Department was involved in a major accident in the 900 block of W. Alabama @ Montrose. Houston Police are investigating what exactly led up to the accident.

Humble Middle School in Harris County, just northeast of Houston saw a high voter turnout towards the end of the day. Polls closed 7 p.m. but there was still a long line when this video was taken at about 7:20 p.m. - 20 minutes after closing.

A City of Houston firetruck was involved in an accident shortly before 9 p.m. on February 28, 2022 while leaving a Texaco gas station (2505 Shadowbriar Dr.)
