HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have released surveillance photos of three persons of interest and their vehicles related to the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man at an apartment complex in the 11675 block of West Bellfort Avenue. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on September 15. Officers arrived to find the male victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. His identity is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to witnesses, multiple gunshots were heard before the victim was found. BOISE, ID – A husband and wife from Idaho are among five individuals indicted for allegedly conspiring to defraud the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) by submitting false tax returns and fictitious financial instruments totaling approximately $57 million. According to the indictment, between 2023 and 2024, Andrea and Kent Shannon of Kuna, Idaho; Brittany Plahm of Frankfort, Illinois; Monika Skinger of Chicago; and Sherita Chandler of Port St. Lucie, Florida, conspired to file false individual and trust tax returns that fraudulently claimed millions in refunds. According to Constable Mark Herman, on September 15, 2025, a deputy with his office responded to the 8500 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West at Kenswick Drive following a hit-and-run crash involving a Hyundai Sonata and a school bus. Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a golf cart that occurred Sunday evening in the Pot-Nets Bayside community.

On September 14, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a Venom EV Golf Cart was traveling north on Piney Crest Lane when the front passenger from the golf cart fell and was critically injured. Although the golf cart did not strike another object and sustained no damage, the incident is being investigated by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit as a fatal crash. The passenger, a 35-year-old woman from Millsboro, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld until her family is notified.
