Surveillance images released of persons of interest in fatal West Bellfort Avenue shooting

HOUSTON, TX – Houston police have released surveillance photos of three persons of interest and their vehicles related to the fatal shooting of a 38-year-old man at an apartment complex in the 11675 block of West Bellfort Avenue. The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. on September 15. Officers arrived to find the male victim lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. His identity is pending notification to next of kin by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. On September 14, 2025, at approximately 7:00 p.m., a Venom EV Golf Cart was traveling north on Piney Crest Lane when the front passenger from the golf cart fell and was critically injured. Although the golf cart did not strike another object and sustained no damage, the incident is being investigated by the Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit as a fatal crash. The passenger, a 35-year-old woman from Millsboro, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld until her family is notified.
