Police said the suspect is believed to be an ex-boyfriend who arrived at the residence and began firing multiple rounds into the home. Several people were inside the residence at the time of the shooting. When gunfire began, occupants dropped to the floor, except for the victim, who stood up and was struck. Pedestrian struck and killed while crossing FM 1960 East in Atascocita

ATASCOCITA, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed while attempting to cross a roadway in the Atascocita area. https://youtu.be/5r1P4Sdm80M The crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. in the 7900 block of FM 1960 East near Pinehurst Trail. According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an auto-pedestrian crash at the location. Investigators said a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway when struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with CPR in progress and did not survive. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Deputies said he did not show any signs of intoxication. The investigation remains ongoing.
