The exact type of substance spilled is currently unknown as crews work to contain and remove the hazard but has been labeled as a Fuel Spill. Motorists in the area may experience delays as the cleanup continues.

HOUSTON, TX – A semi-truck operated by Grocers Supply struck a power pole while turning onto Witcher Lane, causing two poles to fall and blocking the roadway on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 5700 block of the North Freeway as the truck was turning eastbound onto Witcher Lane. Shooting leaves one dead, one injured near Richmond Strip

Houston, TX – Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that left one man dead and another wounded in the 6100 block of Fairdale Lane early Sunday morning. The incident occurred around 5 a.m. According to the Houston Police Department, two men were driving around the area before stopping in a parking lot behind 6150 Richmond Avenue. The men stopped their vehicle to speak with females who were walking with a group of males to their vehicles. During this interaction, a male from the group confronted one of the victims and shot him multiple times before turning the gun on the second victim. HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in the 1700 block of Johanna Drive Saturday evening. Officers responded to reports of two groups of males exchanging gunfire in a parking lot of an apartment complex around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, police discovered several shell casings and a blood trail but no victims at the scene. Shortly after, one male was found deceased at a local clinic from apparent gunshot wounds. A second male was later found at a hospital with gunshot wounds and stated he had come from the same location. Police have one suspect in custody, who was apprehended at the hospital. Woman found deceased in field identified as Cortney Hall

29-year-old Cortney Hall has now been identified as the victim that was found Wednesday morning by a landscape worker in Generation Park. https://youtu.be/T5BAMoabC5U According to investigators, Hall’s body had been at the scene for several days before being found. Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators were able to determine that 25-year-old Christopher Bernard was a suspect and arrested him on Friday. Bernard admitted during an interview that he met Hall, who was working as a prostitute, at a motel. An altercation occurred during their meeting, and Bernard confessed to strangling Hall. He later transported her body and dumped it in the field where she was found. Bernard was arrested at his residence without incident by the Violent Criminal Apprehension ...

HPD Officer hit by wrong-way driver in Midtown

HOUSTON, TX – A police officer sustained minor injuries after a wrong-way driver struck a police vehicle in the earlier this morning. The officer involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. No other drivers were injured or transported.
