BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas — A motorcyclist was killed earlier this morning in a crash involving a sedan at the intersection of the SH 288 service road and Meridiana Parkway. The crash occurred around 1 a.m. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene. Deputies with the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating what led to the fatal crash. Authorities have not released the identity of the deceased. This is a developing story. PEARLAND, TX – Six people were injured after high-octane fuel was added to a small outdoor fire, causing an explosion in Pearland. https://youtu.be/N9WARqSU5ew The incident occurred in the area of Libby and Wellborne. The Pearland Fire Department responded and provided rapid treatment and transport for the injured. One patient was transported in urgent condition, while four others sustained significant but non-urgent injuries. No firefighter injuries were reported.
