Six injured after high octane fuel added to outdoor fire causes explosion in Pearland
PEARLAND, TX – Six people were injured after high-octane fuel was added to a small outdoor fire, causing an explosion in Pearland.

The incident occurred in the area of Libby and Wellborne. The Pearland Fire Department responded and provided rapid treatment and transport for the injured.
One patient was transported in urgent condition, while four others sustained significant but non-urgent injuries. No firefighter injuries were reported.
A total of 10 units and 24 personnel responded. No residents were displaced, and no mutual aid was requested.
