Driver killed after Jeep strikes stalled vehicle on East Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – A driver was killed early Sunday morning after a Jeep crashed into a stalled vehicle on the East Freeway. https://youtu.be/okzyKrLDFBI The crash occurred around 2:25 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-10 just before Wayside. According to the Houston Police Department, officers received a call about a stalled blue Nissan that was stopped in the second lane of the freeway. A Jeep struck the rear of the Nissan. The driver of the Nissan was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Houston Fire Department. The age of the victim is not known at this time.
