Homeowner shoots burglary suspect
HOUSTON, TX – A homeowner shot a burglary suspect Friday night at a residence in the 2300 block of Kelving, according to police.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. A man in his 50s and his pregnant wife, who is due any day, were at home when they heard beeping noises that triggered their alarm system. The sound appeared to be coming from near the garage.
The man armed himself with a pistol and went to investigate. Upon reaching the garage, he discovered the garage door open and saw an individual sitting inside his wife’s vehicle, which was parked in the driveway.
