HOUSTON, TX - A man decided to climb on an apartment complex roof Monday morning and refused to come down. It was captured on the Citizen app. The Houston Fire Department and the Houston Police Department were both called to the Somerset Apartments located on Tidwell around 10:30 a.m. After about an hour and a half of talking to first responders, the man finally came down on his own free will onto a balcony and entered an apartment residence. At this time it is not known why he climbed on the roof in the first place. You can watch the full video on the Citizen app, including the moment he climbed down.

HOUSTON, TX - A man was shot and killed over $20 in front of a food truck. Three suspects are now on the run. https://youtu.be/Kv0TBc68Ykc The shooting occurred in the 6200 block of Chimney Rock around 9:30 p.m. According to police, the men in the parking lot described as African-American males were asking for $20 at a food truck. The victim stated that he will get them $20, went back to the apartments nearby and came back with a pistol. He then pointed the pistol at the suspects but did not pull the trigger. The suspects opened fire and shot him before fleeing on foot, headed west on Elm Street. Police do not have anyone in custody but one officer was able to identify one of the suspects. HOUSTON, TX - A firefighter was transported to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion during an auto shop fire Friday night. https://youtu.be/2foEZaUb-nk The fire started around 3 a.m. in the 9200 block of Clarkcrest. According to the Houston Fire Department, a car inside the shop caught fire but it was extinguished fairly quickly. There were no other injuries.

HOUSTON, TX - A man was found dead after being found in the main lanes of the Southwest Freeway Friday night. The man was found around 10:30 p.m. Friday night on the inbound lanes of the Southwest Freeway just before the Bissonnet exit. According to police, they are not sure if he was struck or ran over by a vehicle but they did say that there were no vehicles connected to the crash that remained at the scene. The crash is still under investigation and police urge the public to contact them if they know anything about the crash.

HOUSTON, TX - A man is dead following after a garbage truck slammed into him on the Eastex Freeway. According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the man, identified ass Yunier Laza Chavez was in a 2003 Honda Accord headed northbound. A 2018 Mack chassis-cab (CMV) being used as a garbage truck was also traveling northbound. At one point, police say Chavez swerved across all traffic lanes. HOUSTON, TX - A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot by family members. The shooting occurred at The Life at Grand Oaks Apartment Complex in the 5500 block of De Soto around 3:40 a.m. https://youtu.be/Pbtbro9Dnzc According to police, the man's family heard a commotion outside and found the victim, a young adult male. He was transported to the hospital by HFD.

HOUSTON, TX - Two homeless men are now recovering in the hospital after they were shot underneath a freeway overpass in Houston. The suspect, who may have been in a silver car might be responsible but has since left the scene.

HOUSTON, TX - Last night, a 10 year old and three teens (14, 15, and 16) were shot in what police say is a targeted shooting. The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 2200 block of Collier.
