The shooting occurred on December 10, 2023, at approximately 1:00 a.m. in the 1700 block of IH-45 Southbound, on Pierce Elevated. Wilson and two friends were traveling to Galveston when a black sedan sped up beside their vehicle and fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side.
