According to Houston Police, officers with the Northeast Patrol Division responded to a shooting call and found a male victim outside, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Family members and the Houston Fire Department attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. HOUSTON, TX – Two men were shot Saturday night and later drove to a gas station at the intersection of Gessner and Little York for help. https://youtu.be/JhDxh4RsoeU The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on April 19, 2025. According to police, the victims had initially been shot near the area of West Tidwell and Bingle before driving to the second location. Upon arrival at the gas station, Houston Police Department officers located both male victims with gunshot wounds. One of the men is in critical condition, while the other is recovering. The HPD Major Assaults Division is leading the investigation. No suspect information has been released at this time. HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Fire Department is currently responding to a 3-alarm warehouse fire at 2525 McAllister in Northwest Houston. Officials are urging the public to avoid the area due to the presence of heavy firefighting equipment. At this time, the cause of the fire and the number of injuries, if any, remain unknown. HOUSTON, TX – A two-alarm fire broke out Saturday night at The Retreat on Rosslyn apartment complex in northwest Houston. https://youtu.be/xBd9fDST5RY The fire was reported around 9:12 p.m. and was originally reported at 6700 Thousand Oaks Circle. It was later confirmed to have occurred at The Retreat on Rosslyn, located at 5801 N Houston Rosslyn Road. Fire crews responded and successfully extinguished the blaze. The fire is fully out. HOUSTON, TX – A motorcycle passenger was killed early Sunday morning after a crash caused by a vehicle stopped in a moving lane of traffic in northeast Houston. https://youtu.be/kR_j7PcVlho The incident occurred around 12:49 a.m. in the 9100 block of Ley Road. According to Houston Police, the vehicle was stopped in the roadway after the driver fell asleep behind the wheel. A motorcycle traveling westbound swerved to avoid the stopped vehicle and dropped during the maneuver. Both the driver and passenger fell off the motorcycle. The passenger was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver is expected to survive. The driver of the stopped vehicle showed signs of intoxication and may face intoxication manslaughter charges.
