SANTA FE, TX – A Santa Fe man has been arrested and charged with felony theft following the execution of a search warrant by the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office. According to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office, on June 6, 2025, the Major Crimes Unit was investigating a burglary that led to a search warrant being served at 3420 Avenue L in Santa Fe. During the operation, detectives with the Major Crimes Unit, Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force, and Crime Scene Investigators recovered a stolen truck, boat, motor, trailer, and a four-wheeler from the property. The homeowner, Patrick Hardy, 59, was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft of Property valued at $2,500 to $30,000, with bond set at $50,000 for each charge. LIVINGSTON, TX – Officers with the Livingston Police Department executed a multi-stage drug enforcement operation early Thursday morning that resulted in three arrests and the seizure of nearly a pound of methamphetamine. According to the Livingston Police Department, officers from multiple shifts and divisions first initiated a traffic stop around 1 a.m. on Highway 190 West. K9 Bear alerted on the suspect vehicle, prompting a search. Multiple baggies of methamphetamine were discovered inside a hidden compartment in the backseat. BRAZORIA COUNTY, TX – A suspect is in custody following a fatal shooting that occurred in the Lake Jackson Farms area on the afternoon of May 31. According to the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call stemming from a domestic dispute and located one individual who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Life Flight transported the victim to a hospital, where they were later pronounced deceased. The suspect, identified as 41-year-old Curtis Gunter, initially fled the scene but later surrendered to deputies with the Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office.
