Heavy police presence at Ingram Park Mall is not an Active Shooter Event

The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has reported that a suspect involved in a vehicle chase ran into Ingram Park Mall after bailing out of the vehicle. https://twitter.com/BexarCoSheriff/status/1560756230494232582 Police have shut the down mall as they look for the suspect who is described as a Hispanic male, medium build and somewhere between 5'7 and 5'9 in height, with black/blue shoes. Police request that the public stays away from the area as they search for the suspect. It is currently not known if the suspect is armed or not, but police are trying to make it clear that this is not an active shooter situation at this time. If you are inside the mall, you are asked to shelter in place while police search for the suspect.

San Antonio firefighters save a dog during a 2-alarm fire that displaced 15 residents and damaged 18 units

https://www.youtube.com/embed/5I97lxuaAXk A fire broke out late Saturday evening at the Sierra Ranch Apartments located at 8916 Datapoint in northwest San Antonio. Firefighters with the San Antonio Fire Department were dispatched at 10:50 p.m. on July 24 2022. According to a Battalion Chief on the scene, it was unclear exactly what started the fire. However, he stated that the fire started in a breezeway, and reached the attic of an apartment building inside the complex. The Chief also stated there were not any reported injuries to firefighters or residents at the complex. During the initial response, firefighters were able to kick in a door and save a dog that was stuck in one of the damaged apartment units. The dog was not reported to have suffered any injuries.
