A 2-Alarm fire broke out at Ashford Aberdeen Apartments in west Houston overnight

A was reported at the Ashford Aberdeen Apartments (3400 Woodchase Dr.) in west Houston just after 11 p.m.

When crews arrived they discovered smoke coming from the third floor of one of the buildings. The fire was upgraded to a 2-alarm fire as it was spreading quickly throughout the attic. There were no injuries reported by firefighters or civilians according to the Houston Fire Department.
