At approximately 10:22 p.m. on April 16, 2023, Houston Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2300 Haldane. Two males were shot during the incident: one in his 40s, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest, and another in his 20s, who was shot in the lower left leg. Both victims are in stable condition at local area hospitals.
Preliminary information indicates that a white Chevy Tahoe with four Hispanic males inside, one armed with a pistol and another with a shotgun, approached the victims and robbed them. About an hour later, the suspects returned, and one of the males got out of the vehicle and shot the victims before fleeing the scene.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are searching for the suspects involved in the shooting and robbery.
