HOUSTON, TX, AUGUST 18, 2023 – A 27-year-old man was killed in a drive-by shooting at a home in southeast Houston on Friday evening. The incident was reported at 7:52 p.m. in the 11400 block of Duane.
Upon arrival, officers discovered several shell casings in the street, and both the house and a car parked in the driveway had been struck by gunfire.
According to the Houston Police Department (HPD), four people were in the home when an individual in a silver, four-door SUV fired multiple rounds, striking the 27-year-old victim in the head. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Surveillance video has provided evidence of the vehicle involved, which fled westbound after the shooting. The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing.
