Fatal Collision on MLK

HOUSTON, TX – A fatal crash that took place on Saturday, Dec. 23, around 8:40 PM at 7800 Martin Luther King Boulevard is under investigation by the Houston Police Department.

The incident involved a white Infiniti QX60 and a tan Chevrolet Venture. The crash occurred when the Chevrolet, traveling westbound on Willow Glen Drive, failed to yield at a stop sign and was struck by the Infiniti.

Benjamin Keys, 64, the driver of the Chevrolet, was transported to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The 17-year-old driver of the Infiniti was not impaired and has been released following questioning.

The ongoing investigation seeks to clarify the details surrounding the collision.
