HOUSTON – Jan. 28, 2024 – 12:10 a.m. – A major accident occurred on the mainlanes of 59, the Southwest Freeway heading northbound in Houston. The incident involved a motorcycle and two vehicles. The motorcyclist, attempting to take an exit at the last minute, collided with a vehicle and was ejected from the bike. The motorcyclist landed in the exit lane and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another car, unable to avoid the motorcycle, collided with it, though the rider was no longer on it. No other injuries were reported. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
