Tonnette Carter was apprehended on January 27, 2024, following a vehicle pursuit that ended in front of Memorial Hermann. The incident began when a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office attempted a traffic stop in the 3800 block of Atascocita Road. Carter, the driver, did not comply, leading to a chase that concluded in the 14200 block of East Sam Houston North, in front Memorial Hermann.
Carter showed several signs of intoxication. After Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, it was confirmed she was intoxicated. She was arrested and taken to the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $10,100.00 by the 177th District Court and County Court 14, as reported by Constable Mark Herman.
