HARRIS COUNTY – (January 30, 2024) – According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, units from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fatal collision involving a train and a pedestrian. The incident occurred in the 6400 block of Ackley, with the initial impact reported near Homestead and Hamill Road. The pedestrian involved in the collision has been confirmed deceased. Investigations into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
