HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (Feb. 9, 2024) – The Harris County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office is actively searching for a 33-year-old man accused of assaulting his girlfriend with a firearm at their residence on Sanders Rose Lane and Piney Trails Lane, while their children were present. The incident, reported around 10:46 p.m. on Friday, involved a disturbance with shots fired.
Upon their arrival, deputies discovered that the woman had been struck in the face with a pistol by her boyfriend. Although the woman and two of their children managed to escape, the youngest child was believed to be left inside with the assailant. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T team was called to assist, leading to the safe rescue of the child. However, after a meticulous search, the boyfriend was not found inside the house after all. According to authorities, he will be charged with aggravated assault with bodily injury.
