Motorcyclist dies after falling off bike while attempting to perform stunts

HOUSTON – A motorcycle rider is dead after he fell off his bike and was subsequently run over by a car in the 7100 block of Cullen Saturday night.

According to witnesses Demarcus Evans was weaving in and out of traffic before he lost control and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The driver of a gray Dodge Journey traveling southbound on Cullen was waiting to make a left turn into a private driveway and saw the motorcycle pass by in the northbound lanes without its rider. As the Dodge turned left, the vehicle struck the motorcyclist lying in the roadway. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Evans deceased at the scene.

The female driver of the Dodge was determined not to be impaired and was questioned and later released.
