HOUSTON, TX – A father is dead after his wife performed CPR on him following a shooting.
This shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Loper.
According to police, the family’s vehicle was vandalized the night before by what they believed was a black truck. A neighbor spotted a similar vehicle passing by and notified the father. The father went outside to confront them. Shortly after, the family and neighbors heard gunshots and rushed outside to see him walking back from down the street. He then collapsed in front of his home. His wife at that point began CPR but he was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Houston Fire Department.
The 37-year-old victim leaves behind his wife, a young son and a baby that is on the way.
