HOUSTON, TX – A man was fatally shot early Sunday morning during a gathering at a residence in southeast Houston.
The incident occurred around 4:45 a.m. on May 11, 2025, at a home in the 3600 block of Mainer Street.
Officers and EMS personnel arrived to find an adult male deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
Preliminary information indicates the residents of the home had invited coworkers over for a gathering that involved alcohol. During the event, an incident occurred between the deceased and one of the residents, which led the resident to produce a firearm and shoot the man.
