Man found dead after being struck on North Loop West in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on the North Loop West early this morning.

The incident occurred around 1:34 a.m. at the intersection of North Loop West and North Main.

The westbound driver initially believed they had struck an unknown object. When police arrived, they discovered the object was a deceased male pedestrian.

The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication during evaluation.

The identity of the pedestrian has not yet been confirmed but he is believed to possibly be a Hispanic male.
