HOUSTON, TX – A man was found fatally shot near a bus stop in north Houston Saturday night.
Houston Police Department officers with the North Central Division responded around 9 p.m. to a shooting call in the 7400 block of North Main Street.
According to investigators, the victim had been seated at a bus stop and speaking with his girlfriend on FaceTime when an unknown male approached and engaged him in a brief conversation. The victim suddenly ran off before the call went silent.
The girlfriend, concerned, tracked his location using his iPhone and found him lying in a nearby grassy area. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
