HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the Fiesta parking lot in the 4100 block of Fulton Street about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.
According to investigators, a 61-year-old male was riding a white Moto Guzzi motorcycle eastbound on Patton when a gray Honda HR-V, traveling westbound, failed to yield while making a left turn into the Fiesta parking lot. The motorcycle lost control, fell, and slid into the Honda.
Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Police said the 37-year-old female driver of the Honda remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
