SPLENDORA, TX – According to the Splendora Police Department, a fatal auto-pedestrian crash occurred at the intersection of FM 2090 and Lakewood at approximately 9:01 p.m. on September 6, 2025.
Officers arrived to find a female lying unresponsive in the roadway. Life-saving measures were initiated by officers and continued by Montgomery County Hospital District personnel, but the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A preliminary investigation determined the young driver did not see the victim due to her dark clothing and poor street lighting. Police said no charges are expected to be filed at this time.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending family notification. The case remains under active investigation.
