Man charged with child endangerment after crash injured three unrestrained children in north Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man is facing felony charges after causing a crash that injured three unrestrained children in his vehicle.

The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on September 19, 2025, in the 13600 block of Walters Road. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded to the scene and determined that the driver, identified as Juan Sanchez, was responsible for the crash.

According to Constable Mark Herman, three children inside Sanchez’s vehicle were not properly restrained and sustained injuries as a result of the collision.

Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Child Endangerment. His bond was set at $7,500 out of the 496th District Court.
