TOWNSEND, DE — Delaware State Police arrested three 17-year-old male students from Townsend in connection with a robbery that took place inside an Odessa High School restroom on Wednesday, authorities said.

The School Resource Officer was notified of the incident on October 8, 2025. Police say that at about 11:45 a.m., the three teens approached another 17-year-old male student in the restroom, pinned him against a wall, and took his personal property before fleeing. The victim was not hurt.
By October 10, investigators had identified and taken into custody all three suspects. Each teen has been charged with second-degree robbery, a felony, and second-degree conspiracy, also a felony. The suspects were arraigned in New Castle County Family Court. One was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond. Two were released on $8,000 unsecured bonds.
The case remains under investigation, and no further details were released by police.
