ATASCOCITA, TX – The Atascocita Fire Department responded to a report of smoke following a lightning strike at the Timberlakes Apartments on Timber Forest Drive Saturday evening.
According to the Atascocita Fire Department, heavy smoke was coming from Building E, prompting a second alarm response.
There are no reported injuries, but multiple families have been displaced from their apartments. AFD also expressed appreciation to their neighboring mutual aid partners for assisting in rapidly suppressing the fire.
