HOUSTON, TX – Harris County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a weapons disturbance around 9:30 p.m. Monday night in the 14700 block of North Freeway, where they found that a victim drove to a Jack in the Box parking lot after being shot. He was found with a gunshot wound to his back and transported to a local medical facility, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators later determined the shooting occurred nearby in the 500 block of West Airtex. Video showed a verbal disturbance involving four males and the victim. As the victim drove away, multiple suspects opened fire, striking his vehicle and injuring him.
Deputies stated they have possible known suspects in the case. No weapons have been recovered, and the shooter fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing.
