BAYTOWN, TX — A 34-year-old man was pronounced deceased following a major auto-pedestrian crash in the 5800 block of Interstate 10.
Officers responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. The Baytown Fire Department pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The Baytown Police Department Reconstruction Team responded and initiated an investigation. The driver of the involved vehicle was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated.
The investigation remains ongoing.
