HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Market Street and North Wayside Drive in east Houston.
According to police, the bicyclist was riding westbound on Market Street as a vehicle traveled northbound on North Wayside Drive with a green light. The driver reportedly did not see the bicyclist until it was too late.
Video evidence confirmed that only one vehicle was involved in the crash, and there were no signs of impairment or intoxication from the driver.
The victim is described as a Hispanic male, possibly in his mid-40s.
