HOUSTON, TX – A man was found deceased in a vehicle in the 7000 block of Chasewood with a gunshot wound to the head after a citizen flagged down an officer on routine patrol.
The citizen alerted the officer that a male was unconscious and not breathing inside a parked vehicle. The officer located the vehicle and found an adult male in the driver’s seat who was unresponsive.
The man had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
There are currently no known suspects. The Houston Police Department Homicide Division is investigating to determine what led up to the shooting.
