HOUSTON, TX – A man was shot while in his vehicle outside his home in northeast Houston around 8 p.m.
The shooting occurred in the 8700 block of Valley Pond Court. According to the Houston Police Department, a young Black male, believed to be in his 20s and dressed in all black, approached the victim and fired multiple shots into the vehicle, striking the man once in the arm.
The suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.
