HOUSTON, TX – A woman was killed after an early morning shooting during a fight at the Wesley Square Apartments in southeast Houston.
The shooting occurred around 12:45 a.m. at 7402 Calhoun. According to police, two females got into an altercation when one of them pulled out a firearm and shot the other.
The woman who was shot self-transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division is investigating, and they say they may have an idea of who the suspect is, but they are still following up with a witness.
