ENSENADA, MEXICO – A video posted on April 28, 2023, on social media reportedly shows Jazmin Perez at Cramsa AC rehabilitation center in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico.
The video resurfaced after a September 2023 balloon release was announced in her memory.
Dr. Candice Matthews said conflicting public information has circulated over the past two years regarding Jazmin Perez’s status.
She referenced an August 2022 public post stating Jazmin was “FOUND,” a 2023 image allegedly showing her in Ensenada, Baja California, and the September 2023 balloon release announcement.
Dr. Matthews said publicly available social media posts were reviewed and that a tip originating from Mexico was received raising additional timeline questions. She stated that the information has been submitted to federal authorities for review.
Dr. Matthews said the community is requesting clarity regarding Jazmin Perez’s welfare and timeline.
