HOUSTON, TX – A man was struck and killed while pushing a cart along a roadway in Houston.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 3:16 a.m. in the 500 block of Manor.
Deputies responded to an auto-pedestrian crash and arrived to find EMS administering aid to a Hispanic male, believed to be in his late 40s to early 50s. Witnesses stated the man was walking southbound on Manor while pushing a cart when he was struck by a white vehicle.
Investigators said the vehicle carried the victim approximately 50 feet from the point of impact. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The vehicle is described only as a white vehicle, possibly a sedan.
