15-year-old killed in drive by shooting in northeast Houston

Police were dispatched to the 2900 Block of Brewster near US-59, the Eastex Freeway around 6:20 p.m in Houston’s Fifth Ward after a report of a drive by shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a teenager that had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

Paramedics rushed the teen to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Northeast officers were dispatched to a shooting at the 2900 block of Brewster St. Officers found a male with a gunshot wound. He was taken to an area hospital in stable condition. Officers are currently investigation the incident. #hounews
