Fire at Kingswood Village Apartments in northwest Houston

Houston Firefighters were dispatched just around 1:45 a.m. to an Apartment Fire at the Kingswood Village Apartments located at 3233 Mangum Rd in Houston, Texas. The fire started towards the back of the apartment complex. It is unclear what started the fire at this time.

Just after 2:30 a.m., the Houston Fire Department announced that this is now a 2 alarm fire.

@HoustonFire is currently on scene at 3233 Mangum performing an offensive attack after receiving reports of an apartment on fire. Call type upgraded to a 2-11. No FF or civilian injuries have been reported. Please avoid the area due to heavy emergency traffic. @FireChiefofHFD
