HARRIS COUNTY, TX- A woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the 13300 block of Highway 249.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, paramedics found the woman with no signs of life at the scene.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Deputies reported no signs of intoxication or impairment.

Investigators said the woman was not crossing in a designated crosswalk. The crash remains under investigation.
