HOUSTON, Texas – A 72-year-old man was found deceased inside an RV truck after an officer working on a report across the street noticed smoke coming from the area.

The officer went as fast as she could to investigate, but the RV was already engulfed in flames.

Police say the man lived in the RV truck and sold fruit from another truck. His family spoke with him earlier in the day and said he was doing fine.

The medical examiner will confirm his identity. The Houston Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
