Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames. According to our viewer, the vehicle was believed to have been abandoned.

According to the Houston Fire Department, Engine 51 and Ladder 51 arrived to find the nightclub filled with heavy smoke down to the floor. Crews initiated a fast interior attack, located the fire in the lounge area, and extinguished it. Firefighters conducted a primary search and confirmed the building was empty, with no injuries reported. According to the Houston Police Department, officers with the Southwest Division responded to a call and found a large and complex scene involving two males. Police said both individuals were seen running down the street, with one male, described as a Black male possibly in his 20s wearing all black, appearing injured with blood on his head. HOUSTON, TX – A leaking industrial-style barrel found near a downtown intersection was determined to likely contain cooking grease, according to Constable Alan Rosen’s Office. https://youtu.be/8V1MsB2r9x0 The barrel was located in a parking lot near the intersection of Preston and Travis, and the liquid made its way into the street. The Harris County Constable Precinct 1 Environmental Crimes team responded to the call, along with the Houston Police Department and Houston Fire Department. Several streets were shut down to traffic until it was determined safe by HFD Hazmat. Officials also stated there is no hazard to the public, and a full cleanup is underway.

Officers arrived and found an adult male with a gunshot wound to the stomach. The victim was transported by the Houston Fire Department to a local hospital and is believed to be in critical condition. The shooting reportedly stemmed from a minor fender bender in the 10000 block of South Gessner, where an exchange of words occurred before the suspect exited a vehicle and fired at the victim.
