HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene in the 7900 block of West FM 1960 around 9:38 p.m. According to the Houston Police Department, a Hispanic male, believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, was walking across FM 1960 when he was hit by a single vehicle. The driver did not stop to render aid and left the area following the crash. Investigators said they have a possible lead on the suspect vehicle, described as a gray truck, and may know its location. It is not known at this time whether intoxication played a role in the crash. HOUSTON, TX – Two men were killed in a shooting outside an apartment complex in the 6300 block of Windswept around 7:30 p.m. https://youtu.be/-_Y1UqMB3Z8 According to the Houston Police Department, officers with the Midwest Patrol Division were dispatched after receiving a report of a male who had been assaulted and was injured. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in front of the apartment complex suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Officers performed CPR until Houston Fire Department personnel arrived and transported the man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Fire Department responded to a trailer fire behind a residential property in the 6000 block of Hopper around 10:19 p.m. https://youtu.be/HoXB4cgccls After extinguishing the blaze, firefighters discovered a deceased adult male inside the trailer. The Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division and HFD’s Arson investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.

HOUSTON, TX – Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a report of a shooting inside the Luxury Inn & Suites on Easthaven where a male was found with a gunshot wound to the leg. https://youtu.be/rXt05ZzN9EQ According to HPD, a witness said she didn’t really see what happened but stated that two males were showing each other a gun when it discharged, striking one of them in the leg. The injured male told officers he did not know who shot him. One of the men left the scene and has not returned, and it remains unclear what exactly occurred. The shooting is believed to be accidental at this time, though the investigation is ongoing.
