HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police are investigating after skeletal remains were found in a wooded area off the 12800 block of Bissonnet. https://youtu.be/UHiyL_grLYo The discovery was made a little after 2:30 p.m. when a male in the area located what he believed to be human remains. Responding Westside patrol officers confirmed the remains appeared to be skeletal. According to police, at least two parts of a skull were visible. Investigators believe the remains are from one adult, but the gender, age, and cause of death are unknown at this time. Officers noted it appeared there had been a homeless camp in the area at some point. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to conduct an autopsy to determine more details. SPLENDORA, TX – An ATV was pulled into a train north of Kingsport after a winch cable became entangled on the tracks Saturday evening. The Splendora Police Department said the incident occurred around 8:39 p.m. on August 30, 2025. Officers responding to the scene determined no one was injured, and the individuals involved had fled before police arrived. Investigators learned that unknown subjects had attempted to recover the ATV by stretching a winch cable across the tracks. MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police arrested 38-year-old Djuan Sheppard of Millsboro on felony drug and weapon charges after executing a search warrant at his residence. On August 29, 2025, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team conducted a search at a home in the 27000 block of Mount Joy Road.
