According to investigators, the shooting occurred after a group of uninvited guests arrived at the frat house party and were asked to leave. The group became angry, and one individual retrieved a weapon from a vehicle. A physical altercation then broke out in the street between the two groups, and the suspect fired a single round into the crowd, striking the victim. Officers on scene provided first aid, applying chest seals and tourniquets before the man was transported to a nearby hospital. He is reported to be in critical condition.
